Hjärnfonden: Data platform migration from Azure to GCP, proceeded by data platform management and analytics support
Hjärnfonden is the Swedish Brain Foundation that supports the funding of brain research. Abraham supported Hjärnfonden in their efforts to migrate their data platform from Azure to GCP by building a new data warehouse in BigQuery from the ground up using dbt with Medallion architecture as well as replicating Power BI dashboards into Looker Studio.
After building the data platform in GCP, Hjärnfonden requested Abraham to stay to maintain and further develop the data platform as well as to support the team in analytics work e.g. building dashboards and ad-hoc analyses.

Telinet: Troubleshooting on missing data updates
Telinet is an electricity provider. They had an issue where they couldn't get any updates on their Power BI dashboard for more than a month. Upon troubleshooting, it turns out that the third-party data provider had enforced a whitelist for their SFTP server, which contains raw data, making the Azure Data Factory flow interrupted. Abraham fixed the issue by building a Self-hosted Integration Runtime on Azure Data Factory using Azure Virtual Machine. This solved the whitelisting problem and required no additional change in the data flow. On another note, there was also a change in the table structure on one of the raw files, which Abraham fixed by recreating the affected raw table on Snowflake using the new structure.

Polestar: Educating and Empowering Digital Product Teams with Data Analytics
Polestar is an electric car company, which was born as a spinoff to Volvo Cars. This is a 4-month engagement within the Digital department. I mainly work with the Commerce Storefront teams, specifically with Configurator and Pre-Configured/Pre-Owned teams.
My main task during the engagement was to become a catalyst in educating and empowering the product teams to make data-driven decisions. I created a plan, facilitated workshops to identify the North Star Metrics and the input metrics that lead to it, created the wireframe for the dashboards, updated the documentation, and requested the execution of metrics and dashboards.
Tools used: Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Miro, Confluence, Python
Volvo Cars: Google Analytics Migration (UA to GA4), Dashboard creation for Volvo Cars mobile app teams.
Volvo Cars is a car manufacturing company. This is a 6-month engagement within the Mobile Experience cluster, working with the Volvo Cars mobile app.
My main task during the engagement was to support the Data Insights team with the migration of Google Analytics, from Universal Analytics to Google Analytics 4. I coordinated the change with various stakeholders and documented the new events based on the company’s standard structure.
Furthermore, I also created several dashboards for various product teams within the Mobile Experience clusters, mainly to increase understanding of user behavior and product usage.
Tools used: GCP, Google Analytics, Google BigQuery, Looker Studio.
Volvo Group: Identifying electric-ready vehicles based on vehicle data
Volvo Group is a company that produces trucks, buses, construction equipment, and marine and industrial engines. This is a Hyper Island client project.
We were given datasets from fossil-fuel vehicles using AWS (S3 and Redshift) and we transformed the data using Python in such a way that it could calculate the electromobility score and determine if the vehicle is ready for electrification.
The group consists of Abraham Setiawan, Tom Lagerman, Felix Weiland, and Faiza Tarar.
Tools used: AWS, Amazon S3, Amazon Redshift, Python, Figma
Fishbrain: Creating dashboards to continuously monitor app performance against KPIs
Fishbrain is a social media platform for anglers. This is a Hyper Island client project.
We were given datasets on Google BigQuery with different metrics including demographics, subscription data, and user engagements (uploads, likes, comments). We decided on which KPIs we should monitor and created dashboards using PowerBI to monitor the relevant metrics against the KPIs.
The group consists of Abraham Setiawan, Axel Wik, Tatyana Ketova, and Olha Borgelin.
Tools used: Google BigQuery, Microsoft Power BI
Bontouch: Providing Recommendations to the Product Team On iOS Version Support
Bontouch is a software startup as-a-service company. This is a case interview for the Data Analyst role.
I was given a dataset of a particular app and was tasked to do research and analysis on whether the product team should support the latest iOS version and whether to drop the support for the old version.
Tools used: Python
King: Making Decisions Based on A/B Test Results
King is a mobile games development company. This is a case interview for the Product Manager.
I was given the results of the A/B test from multiple metrics (retention rate, money spent, levels cleared, etc.) for the control and variant versions of a particular game and was tasked to do an analysis on which version to go forward with.
Tools used: Python
